Our brandgut awaits you in Viehhofen amidst the unmistakable Alpine world of Salzburger Land, perfectly located between Saalbach Hinterglemm, Zell am See-Kaprun and Saalfelden Leogang. Or in other words: In the epicentre of Austria’s largest bike region and one of Europe’s largest ski areas. With us you’re in the thick of it, yet far away from the hustle and bustle — the perfect base for your discovery tours and a haven to relax with a drink in hand.
We saved the best for last. The ultimate. The cherry on top. The icing on the cake; or rather: the i-spot: In the brandgut you sit enthroned at more than 1,000 metres above sea level – far above the valley floor. Here the sun kisses you when you wake up in the morning. Holidays with a view. Unmistakable and unique.
Let yourself go and take the day as it comes. This holiday is yours only. You want to spend every second of your holiday outdoors? Then one of our simple – let’s call it aplne-retro – rooms may be just what’s right for you. Our convenient family rooms provide space not just for a little adventurers, but also for the crew if you head off with your friends. Late risers, night owls and self-caterers may feel most at ease in one of our apartments, because here you’ll find everything you need in your temporary home.
A picture-perfect mountain inn! Our brandgut at more than 1,000 metres altitude overlooks Glemm Valley, and while you enjoy regional classics or modern vegan dishes, both hearty and healthy, there is no shortage of views to admire.
Your road trip takes you into the mountains, but you don’t want to stay overnight at just any old camping site on your adventure? We feel you! That’s why we have set up a Roadsurfer-Campingspot at the brandgut for you. Here you’ll sleep in your own rolling home at more than 1,000 metres altitude in the heart of the mountains and right under the stars and can – only if you want to, of course – use the full brandgut infrastructure.
A holiday in the mountains is the best soulfood. Fresh air, image summits, green alpine meadows in summer, snow-covered slopes in winter and rustic alpine huts accompany you on your explorer-tour through the mountains. And it truly doesn’t matter if you prefer challenging or leisurely hikes, dashing down the mountains on the bike or skis with the adrenaline running through your veins, or playfully exploring nature with your family.
The best end to a hot summer day is a jump into the cool water … and that’s exactly what you can do in our natural swimming pond. If you visit us in winter, you’ll find soothing warmth in our sauna after a full day’s skiing.
