    the brandgut.

    Climate-friendly by train

    Avoid the traffic jams and save the environment by taking the train all the way to Zell am See or Saalfelden, where we will be happy to pick you up if you let us know your arrival time. During your stay here with us, will take you to the nearest mountain cableway in Viehhofen or to the Schönleitenlift in Saalbach. For outings, the traffic system and route planner of Salzburg public transport is available to you.

    The easiest way to plan your route is by using Google Maps

    Coming from the East
    From Vienna: Exit Wals/Lofer (A1) > Bad Reichenhall (B21) > Lofer (B178) > Saalfelden (B311) > in Maishofen continue in the direction of Saalbach (L111).

    Coming from Graz: Exit Selzthal (A9) > Eben (B320) > Bischofshofen (A10) > Zell am See (B311) > in Maishofen continue in the direction of Saalbach (L111).

    You’ll find the turn-off to the brandgut one kilometre after Hotel Gasthof Glemmerhof on the right. If you have reached the place name sign for Viehhofen, you have gone too far.

    Coming from the north / north-west (no road tax disc required)
    Option 1: Exit Siegsdorf (A8) > Inzell (B306) > Schneitzlreuth (B305) > Lofer (B178) > Saalfelden (B311) > in Maishofen continue in the direction of Saalbach Hinterglemm (L111).

    Option 2: A8 to Inntal junction > A93 until exit Oberaudorf> Kössen (B172) > Erpfendorf (L39) > Lofer (B178) > Saalfelden – Maishofen (B311) > Saalbach Hinterglemm (L111).

    Option 3: A8 to Inntal junction > A93/A12 until exit Kufstein Süd > St. Johann/Tirol (B173 & B178) > Saalfelden (B164) > Maishofen (B311) > Saalbach Hinterglemm (L111)

    By plane

    The nearest airports are in Salzburg and Munich. From there it’s best to take the Holiday Shuttle or a rental car to us.
