You may already be familiar with our extensive included services. But additional fire protection in form of information surely can’t hurt, that’s why we have summarised the most important points for you here:

Cancellation terms:

  • up to 1 month before arrival, 40 % of the total price
  • up to 1 week before arrival, 70 % of total price
  • in the last week before arrival, 90 % of total price
  • Further details can be found in the GTC for the hotel industry
  • Travel insurance: We recommend taking out tavel insurance. We’ll be happy to take out this insurance for you.
  • Flexi Rate: Book now and cancel free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. Bookable from a stay of 3 days.

Covid-19:

  • Should the Corona-regulations become stricter again (travel ban, travel warning or mandated quarantine on return) any cancellation fees will, of course, be waived.

What are your payment options?
Cash, by credit card or debit card.
When is check-in & check-out?
Check-in is possible from 14:00. Check-out until 10:00.
Can we arrive earlier anyway?
You can always ask. If your room was not occupied, an early check-in should be quite possible.
Is that free of charge?
Yes!
Can we store our luggage in the brandgut if we arrive earlier and our room is not yet ready for occupancy?
Yes
How far away is the train station?
Zell am See & Saalfelden are some 15 minutes away by car
How do you get from the train station to the brandgut?
We’ll be happy to pick you up if you let us know in time. Let us know in good time so that we can schedule your pickup.
Are there parking spaces?
Yes, even covered ones.
Do we have to pay for parking?
No
Can I bring my dog?
Of course. A four-legged friend costs €15 per day in the brandgut. This includes Dog-Poop-Bags
Can I bring my cat?
Unfortunately not, but you are welcome to take one of our farm cats with you back home
Do you have e-bikes for rent?
Yes. We have Giant Fathom E+ 3 Power Bikes in sizes S, M and L available. With these you can explore the surroundings for a rental fee of €45 per day.
Do you have air-conditioning?
No, we have windows.
Do you also serve vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, etc. food?
Yes, you won’t go hungry here. Please let us know in advance and we’ll be able to meet your requests.
Does the Ski-Shuttle depart at all times of the day?
No, our shuttle service runs from 08:30 – 11:00 & from 15:00-17:00.
To which lift stations does the Ski-Shuttle go and where does it pick us up again?
We’ll bring you to the zellamseeXpress in Viehhofen and to the Schönleitenbahn lift in Saalbach. We will also pick you up there again if you let us know the time.
Can we take our dog to the restaurant?
We have a separate area in the restaurant where you can leave your four-legged friend.
Is there a lift in the building?
Yes, there is! Six floors are too much even for the staff and manager to walk up and down on a daily basis.
Where is the nearest bus stop?
Right at the entrance to our secret hideaway. Given a body height of between 1.70 and 1.95 m and a normal, average gait, that’s about 2,000 steps or 3 minutes downhill by car.
Is the Jokercard available in the brandgut?
No, but we have the Viehhofner Guest Card. 
More details can be found at: www.viehhofen.at. In addition, we also have the SalzburgerLand Card available for purchase.
Is it possible to get around even without a car?
Yes, with the Viehhofner Guest Card you can use all public transport in Pinzgau FREE.
Where is the nearest swimming spot?
Right behind our building in our swimming pond. Those looking for variety will find a lake and an indoor pool in Zell am See, Lake Ritzensee in Saalfelden or the Captain Hook outdoor pool in Saalbach.
What is included in the half-board?
Breakfast buffet & dinner with starter/soup, salad bar, main course and dessert.
You have two set meals to choose from.
What if I don’t like the food that is served today?
Then you’ll just have to go hungry, there is no way we will accept any special requests or cater for your needs 😉 You are welcome to eat à la carte in our restaurant.
Can I ride on your horses?
No, our horses are not trained for riding lessons. But you are welcome to look at them, pet them and feed them (please ask us first).
Are there riding opportunities nearby?
Yes, very many. We’ll be happy to give you some addresses when you are here.
Is there a playground?
Yes, we have a playground with a sandbox, slide and various swings.
For the older ones, there is a Calisthenicspark, a bouldering wall and a zip line just a few metres away.
Are all the animals there in summer?
No, in summer the animals live in their holiday homes. The horses on the Alpine pasture and the sheep and goats in their villa, just a few metres away from our hotel.
Can you visit all the animals?
Yes, you can visit them all and watch Julia feed them by prior arrangement.
Do you have a closing day?
No, there is no closing day in summer.
Do you serve breakfast for non-guests as well?
Yes, always and with pleasure. But please reserve a table beforehand to make sure there is enough space.
